I work with the client to see the style they are looking for and how we can work together to achieve that. I usually incorporate a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles which cover most preferences and include candid, natural images as well as formal portraits.
Yes, I use an online gallery where your images can be securely accessed by you and any family or friends you choose to share it with.
In some cases this will be included in a package such as with some of the wedding packages.

I use 2x Canon DSLR's and lenses with external flash and Manfrotto tripod. I also have a Lastolite portable studio which can be used at events and wedding receptions for portraits of your guests.

I work with a number of photographic assistants and other professional photographers to provide the service required depending on the size of event.
In the case of weddings you can request an additional photographer to help capture the day from an alternate perspective including the grooms preparations and other candid images that will be cherished for years to come..
It depends on the package you have selected or the requirements you have discussed at the time of booking but yes this is an option. If not already included in a package, the full set of digital images can be purchased for £99 with a portrait session and £199 with a wedding or event.

Yes, in the very unlikely event that I was unable to attend due to serious illness for example, in most circumstances I would be able to allocate an alternate professional photographer to cover your event. I work with a network of many other amazing photographers that will be able to assist in this scenario.
We realise you need your photos as soon as possible, and we work to make sure you receive your images in a timely fashion. Our average turnaround for event and portrait photography is one week. Wedding photography is usually around two to three weeks but this can take longer at busier times. We may also post a teaser image on social media while we finish the editing process.
Yes! You can buy one for yourself to use at a later date or as a gift for someone else.

Yes, the copyright of the images belongs with the photographer and can reproduce images for the purposes of advertising or otherwise promoting his work or any other use. You will have a licence to use and reproduce the images you have selected for personal use.

Depending on the requirements of the client this is possible but usually my time is dedicated to the one event. I do have a team of experienced photographers however so can still ensure your wedding is covered even if it may not be me who is there on the day.

Whilst I don't have a physical studio location, I do have a portable studio that can be quickly set up in your home for professional studio quality images.

It can be quite daunting meeting someone new and having to feel pressured to pose, but with me there is no need to worry! I like to make portraits fun and bring out the true personality of the subjects and I love to capture genuine expressions for truly memorable images.

Matt Denman Photographic can come to your location for staff photos and to capture your office “environment” for branding purposes. I can also bring a backdrop for employee headshots. When I cover your  corporate event, conference or sales meeting, I can also takes headshots of employees who may not usually work in the office.
Yes, I always try to capture team shots and any other special requests as well as capturing all the action on the field / track / court etc...

My product Photography service is available for a wide range of items from small products captured with great detail with a selection of backdrop options to larger items such as furniture or bicycles with a fresh white modern background.

Prices are on a flat rate per product basis with a maximum of 5 images per product. Extra images can be added from only £3 each.
Small products are defined by dimensions less than 25cm long, wide or deep.
Products can be collected if you are local to Portsmouth and returned with no charge.
